Caroline Lestimé and her husband, Hubert, were pleased to welcome you and your friends for a tasting of some of the Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard wines during the 19th Salon des Vignerons Polytechniciens on March 15th, 2009. Doors open from 11am to 7pm at the Hôtel de Poulpry, 12 rue de Poitiers, 75007 Paris.
For the past decade, Jeremy Cukierman, Pierre-Benoit Pérard and Thierry Welschinger have been spending their weekends and holidays discovering vineyards and the people who give them expression: winemakers.
While always searching for the best possible interpretation of terroirs, they bring home many good bottles, which they share with family and friends.
In 2006 they finally decided to devote themselves to their two passions, food and wine, and created a society to promote them, WCPM.
To start with, they organised theme-based gastronomic dinners for companies wanting to push the boat out for their clients. Later, they opened a shop called Mes Accords Mets Vins in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. The visitor is guided by the original presentation of the wines paired with dishes.
The adventure continued in January 2008 when a new Mets et Vins workshop was opened near the Etoile and the marché des Ternes.
Both a wine store and a restaurant, every lunchtime this place offers a journey into the world of tastes where pleasures of the wineglass and pleasures of the plate come together.
With the personal advice given on each pairing, a wide range of wines sold by the glass and many good bottles, this place is not to be missed out under any circumstances.
